Production Associate : Lena , I llinois

Our client in Lena, Illinois, is a reputable manufacturer dedicated to delivering exceptional service and high-quality products. They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Production Associates on 2nd Shift. This role involves both packaging and production tasks, requiring individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and physical work environment.

Responsibilities of the Production Associate :

  • Flip, turn, and move cheese during processing.
  • Cross-train in both packaging and production areas.
  • Assist with production tasks such as :

Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, floors, and equipment.

  • Leveling material into forms with precision.
  • Operating production conveyors and inspecting lines for issues.
  • Placing empty forms or funnels on the conveyor line.
  • Always maintain safety standards and participate actively in the Safety Program.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment before and after production.
  • Be punctual and prepared to begin work at the scheduled time.
  • Participate in operator CILT and sanitary maintenance as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

    • Production Associate Requirements and Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot (85°ree;F) environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push / pull 1,000 pounds with a pallet jack.
  • Must stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Must be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and in humid conditions.

    • Pay for Production Associate : Starting at $21 / hour with shift diff.
