Shift Details
Shift : Monday to Thursday, 11 : 00 AM to 9 : 30 PM
Pay : $16 per hour
Location : Brooklyn, NY
Department : Kitchen / Prep
The Kitchen and Prep department requires individuals to perform various tasks including lifting, cutting, grinding, cleaning, and some machine operations.
Employees will also need to enter freezers and chill rooms while pushing bins of ingredients used for processing.
Responsibilities
- Lifting : Raw materials (meats, vegetables, etc.) may weigh up to 30 lbs.
- Cutting : Vegetables and other raw ingredients may require the use of knives for processing.
- Grinding : Vegetables and other raw materials are ground using electronic grinding machinery.
- Freezers and Chill Rooms : Limited use of electronic hand jacks and the pushing of loaded bins with ingredients are required.
- Cleaning : Employees are required to clean the work area (machines and floors). The use of hot water is a part of this cleaning.
