Well-known plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks a pre-suit paralegal with a minimum of 3-7 years’ experience. Only candidates with Plaintiff's prior personal injury experience will be considered for this position.
Candidates must be capable of the following :
- Managing plaintiff’s personal injury cases from pre-suit through up until litigation is commenced.
- Opening and closing personal injury files
- Communicating with clients
- Conducting basic liability investigation
- Identifying potential defendants and obtaining insurance coverage documentation
- Gathering medical bills, records, and insurance liens
- Drafting Demand Letters
- Managing client relations through pre-suit medical treatment
- Updating medical bills and records and data entry into the firm database
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and understand medical records
- Negotiating medical bills and liens
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
