About the Role
The Director of Field Operations is responsible for the design and implementation of strategies to drive the field operations of a business organization.
Responsibilities
- Managing construction project execution from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising.
- Ensuring projects move forward on schedule and on-budget while overcoming any challenges.
- Evaluating and enforcing safety standards on site and securing compliance.
- Formulating strategy, improving performance, and procuring labor resources for their sector.
- Communicating with clients and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies for achieving operational targets within established budgets.
- Monitor company personnel to ensure they perform their duties in a timely and effective manner.
- Build and establish great coworker relationships by assisting field personnel in avoiding obstacles associated with operational policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and the management of the operations budget.
- Continuously monitor customer satisfaction level to make sure company operations meet client expectations.
- Plan and organize training programs for company staff to enhance their job knowledge and skill.
- Overseeing administrative tasks, such as promotions, salary negotiation, and transfer of direct reports.
- Develop and implement policies for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability.
- Address and resolve all issues concerning field office operations.
- Monitor key metrics and develop action plans for improving company profits.
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance business growth.
- Motivate and reward high performing employees by recommending salary increase, bonuses or promotions.
- Identify and introduce new proposals and technology to enhance business productivity.
- Collaborate with functional units of an organization to integrate new or existing services.
- Manage services provided by the company to ensure they meet client expectations and requirements.
- Build and maintain positive trust relationships with customers to minimize clientele attrition.
- Create work shifts and assign duties to company staff and subcontractors to ensure efficient operations.
- Create and oversee the implementation of field tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Microsoft Suite

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
