Oliver Cope Architect is currently seeking a candidate for Intermediate Architectural Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to become a team member on exciting high-budget projects as varied as new home construction, existing home renovations, NYC apartment and townhouse renovations.
The ideal candidate has experience with :
- Working as a member of a team under a Project Manager.
- Creating Construction Documents / Technical Drawings / Schedules in coordination with project team.
- Shop Drawing review and experience reviewing and trapping errors and / or omissions on Construction Documents.
- 3D Modeling and Rendering.
- Architectural product and material research.
- Coordination of structural, mechanical, and other systems.
- Engagement in all phases of a project from Schematic Design to Construction Administration.
Schedule
We currently offer a hybrid work schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day WFH.

Job Requirements :
- Arch or M. Arch Degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years’ experience with significant exposure to residential architecture.
- Proficiency with relevant computer applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
