The Director Compliance facilitates compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standard, organization policies and provides oversight to ensure procedures are being followed, and behavior in the organization meets the INTEGRIS Code of Ethical Business Conduct.
This position, together with the Corporate Compliance Officer and department will implement all necessary actions to achieve the objectives of an effective compliance program.
Responsible for the development and periodic review of compliance related policies and procedures; the development and facilitation of compliance training and education programs, will communicate compliance problems to appropriate liaison and other appropriate responsible parties, including executive management in one-on-one or group meetings and presentations.
Will be responsible for providing strategic and operational guidance and provide advice regarding regulatory changes and ensure that management has implemented proper process changes.
Will be a resource to answer and address questions from all system facilities, clinics, agencies, and / or responsible parties and will be instrumental in building a contemporary, forward thinking compliance function across the entire organization.

- Bachelors degree in business, health-care administration, area of clinical expertise, or other related field Masters or JD degree preferred 7 years experience in the field Extensive familiarity with healthcare relevant legislation, compliance laws and regulations Knowledge of leadership, management, and quality improvement concepts, Knowledge of coding and healthcare billing requirements Knowledgeable of current national healthcare policies and trends in political environment
- Knowledge of leadership, management, and quality improvement concepts
- Knowledge of compliance program guidance and industry standards
- Compliance certification such as Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred
- Experienced in multiple facets of a complex health system
- Demonstrated experience providing leadership and direction in a manner that cultivates respect and influences behavior at all levels of an organization.
