Pay Range : $50,00.00

Who we're looking for :
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, problem-solving, energetic, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Accounts Payable Specialist.
This is a full-time position M-F 8 am to 5 pm located in the Albuquerque, NM corporate office in the uptown area.
Required Qualifications :
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Associates or bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a Minimum of 3 years experience as Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable Clerk, or similar position
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes
- Familiarity with purchase order processes
- Ability to work independently and with other departments
- Strong ability to multitask and skill in prioritizing work to meet deadlines

Key functions for the Accounts Payable Specialist include :
- Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Performs invoice and general-ledger data entry
- Ensures that all invoices are processed and payment rendered in a timely fashion and within terms
- Coordinates and communicates with other departments and vendors to resolve any discrepancies such as : pricing, quantity, product, and freight discrepancies
- Review and reconcile company credit card statements
- Maintain accurate AP records and vendor files
- Primary backup of inbound phone calls
- Post and process inbound customer payments
- Proactively work with vendors to resolve outstanding invoices and credits
- Other accounting tasks as assigned
