Job Requirements
REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; at least three years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related field, preferably in a complex organization or academic environment;
comprehensive understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting principles; proficiency with financial and reporting software applications (e.
- g., SAP, Brio, Cognos); advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel; excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills;
- ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights; ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
and support for the mission and values of MIT. PREFERRED : experience with fund accounting and grant management.
