ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER
FULL TIME (37.5) / PART-TIME HOURS AVAILABLE
ABERDEEN CITY / SHIRE
Newburn deliver clinical care to circa 45,000 patients across three practice sites with a population demographic covering Aberdeen city centre, Northfield, a significant population of Aberdeen University students and the Fyvie-Oldmeldrum population in Aberdeenshire.
This allows for an interesting and varied clinical workload.
We are an innovative practice; passionate about supporting our staff to develop and progress with their careers and be the best they can be.
We are also passionate about trying new approaches to deliver Primary Care and have a diverse consulting team comprising GPs, ANPs, NPs and a Pharmacy Team.
We are also a teaching and GP training Practice with FY2s and GPSTs regularly rotating through the Practice.
We are looking for ANPs to work closely with the wider practice team, providing care to our patients appropriate to their clinical skill set, with the management of home visits part of the role.
Our current ANP team have all developed special interests in primary care, in areas including palliative care and minor surgery.
The successful candidate will have current first level registration with relevant body and must be a qualified and experienced independent prescriber.
