Sr. Manager, Workplace Delivery

San Mateo, CA (On-Site, Flexible)

The Senior Manager, Workplace Delivery is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale workplace projects across a diverse real estate portfolio.

This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the company's strategic goals.

The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain close relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Leadership & Management :

Lead the planning, execution, and completion of workplace projects, including renovations, relocations, and new constructions, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Stakeholder Management :

Collaborate with internal departments such as real estate, IT, and facilities, and external vendors to coordinate project activities.

Serve as the primary contact for all project-related communications and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Budget & Financial Management :

Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure that projects are delivered within financial targets.

Provide regular updates to senior leadership on budget performance.

Vendor & Contractor Oversight :

Manage and coordinate external vendors, architects, and contractors. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve issues to ensure project success.

Risk Management :

Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to senior leadership when necessary.

Compliance & Safety :

Ensure that all workplace delivery projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and corporate policies.

Continuous Improvement :

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and incorporating lessons learned into future project planning and execution.

Team Leadership :

Mentor and coach project team members, including junior project managers and coordinators, to support their professional development.

Candidate Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications are a plus.

• Experience :
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in workplace delivery, real estate, or construction project management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget.
• Skills & Competencies :
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Financial acumen to manage large budgets and forecast expenses.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

• Strong knowledge of workplace trends, building technologies, and sustainability practices.
