The Accounting Clerk will ensure complete and systematic accounting records of receipts and disbursements in the organization by performing complex clerical and bookkeeping tasks and applying accepted procedures in preparing and maintaining accounting records.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Voucher about 1,000 complex invoices for payment or credit per month
- Deal with multiple entities and currencies for vouchering process
- Log all problem invoices into Sharepoint system for approval tracking and / or repository purposes
- Promptly respond to vendor inquiries or refer them to the appropriate department to help facilitate prompt payment
- Work across the organization to correct errors causing vouchering issues and find preventive actions to prevent future errors
- Analyze / review vendor statements for accuracy
- Assist in monthly closing process
- Prepare analysis of accounts as required
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Act as back up for Cash Application for multiple entities and currencies and update required documents daily
- May be required to manage weekly check run
- Manage vendor relations and have ability to problem solve and be proactive
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with varying levels of management and with internal and external customers’ in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities
Required
- Experience processing invoices for services and goods on a Purchase Order
- Three-way match experience
- Experience recording use tax when applicable
- Experience in large ERP system
- Quick learner and pro-active with a great attitude
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED Required
- Associates degree in accounting is a plus
- 5+ years in Accounts Payable
- MS Excel proficient
- Able to handle high volume with attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 15 pounds.
- Indoor environment. Sitting, standing, and walking are common.
- Reading, listening, and talking are common.

Compensation Details
Hourly : $25.00 - $30.00
Additional Compensation
Hourly Rate for this position will be determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position.
This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through the company bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive a Relocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, in accordance with the Sundyne Relocation Policy.
