As an Investment Risk Oversight Specialist in Global Risk management based in Los Angeles, you will help build a robust and independent global investment risk oversight and monitoring function within Global Risk Management to support Capital Group meet its strategic, business and regulatory objectives.

You will lead the implementation and execution of a second line Investment Risk Management Oversight framework for North America Funds and segregated accounts.

To thrive in this role, you have an in-depth knowledge of and passion for risk management of an asset manager's core operational business.

You provide leadership internally and across the industry and actively participate in Risk Management forums and keep current on industry changes.

  • You are proficient in investment risk quantification techniques and methodology.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to leadership committees, senior business leaders and large forums internally and externally.

Southern California Base Salary Range : $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
