Position Description
Assistant / Associate / Full Professor (Tenure-Track / Tenured) : The School of Nursing ( SON ), located in downtown Atlanta, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to begin in Spring 2024.
The responsibilities include continuing a program of research on a focused topical area, securing external funds, peer-reviewed publications, and other scholarship, university and professional service, and teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs.
Other responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate student and faculty mentoring. Competitive compensation package and transition funds available.

Required Experience
Academic experience on the tenure track, involving teaching, research, and service at a higher education institution, is required for a minimum of one year for the rank of Assistant Professor, seven years for the rank of Associate Professor, and 10 years for the rank of Professor.
Candidates should demonstrate a focused research area through publications and other scholarly activities.
Required Education
Ph.D. or equivalent research doctoral degree in nursing or relevant areas at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Candidates with experience as a nurse researcher with active extramural funding or a documented record of securing such funding is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations, etc
Georgia RN license / license eligible.

Position may require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and / or other campus locations).
