Job Title : Billing Specialist

Job Overview : The organization is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Billing Specialist with experience in Blackbaud software.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, handling expense reimbursements, and overseeing collections to ensure timely payments and financial accuracy, all while supporting the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and manage billing transactions using Blackbaud software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle expense reimbursements, verifying documentation and processing payments efficiently.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices and outstanding collections.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Generate and distribute billing statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications related to billing and collections.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders regarding billing and payment inquiries.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role, preferably using Blackbaud software.
• Strong understanding of billing processes and accounts receivable management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
