As a Regional Director of Operations, you will oversee the operations of our senior living communities your assigned region.

Areas of Responsibility :

• Co-create and lead the implementation of initiatives that drive our EPIC culture, ensuring that assigned facilities are acting in a manner that demonstrates Excellence, Passion, Innovation, and Care.
• Assist the VPO to oversee, lead, and direct the operations of the assigned facilities
• Responsible for the financial performance of the region, including meeting revenue targets and managing expenses.
• Assist with the development of annual budgets.
• Assist in conducting monthly operational reviews with all assigned facilities.
• Assisting in Develop, analyze, and utilize meaningful metrics in support of business decision making.
• Coach and mentor facility leadership to continually strive for operational excellence and performance.
• Work closely with facility leadership to build and maintain a positive and rewarding experience for both residents and employees.
• Ensure that day-to-day operations are handled effectively and in compliance with all federal and state regulations and Company policies.
• Develop, improve, and implement systems and processes to continually streamline and enhance operations.
• Work closely with Clinical and Regulatory team members on compliance.
• Continuously show improvement with the overall 5 Star rating, including each of the rating domains.
• Ensure facilities are properly staffed to meet resident care needs.
• Ensure approved budgets are adhered to, with deviations discussed and analyzed with management.
• Work external relationships with hospitals, ACOs, community leaders, etc.
• Fill in as the Interim Administrator, when needed.

What you will need to join our EPIC Team :

• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Must possess proven multi-site Regional Director experience in senior living or long-term care settings
• Excellent knowledge of human resource development and management, business development, business accounting, budget processes, and nursing operations
• Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory compliance standards and clinical practices within the senior living industry
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good understanding of finance, billing, budgeting, marketing, and human resources.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar operational budgets.
• Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated success in leading and collaborating effectively at all levels of the organization and across inter-disciplinary teams.
• Proven success in implementing overall company strategies and initiatives.
• Must possess critical thinking skills, sound judgment and strong decision making skills.
• Must be flexible in adapting and responding to operational needs within a changing regulatory landscape.
• Ability to travel up to 100% - must also be ready to travel unexpectedly as needed
