Fountain Dental Center is an established dental practice south of Colorado Springs and has been serving the community for over 20 years.
We are growing and searching for an experienced full-time (Tuesday through Friday) EDDA Dental Assistant for our team-oriented and patient-centric practice.
At Fountain Dental Center, our team members are an essential resource to fulfill our vision to be the patient experience leader.
We have a bright and open office with windows in every operatory. We are a fast-paced office with a hard-working, friendly team seeking to find someone like-minded.
Our ideal EDDA Dental Assistant will be a reliable team player with great attention to detail.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who will take the initiative and jump in and help out anytime and anywhere to make the team better.

Responsibilities :
- Capturing necessary x-rays
- Four-handed dentistry chairside experience
- Temporary Crowns, fillings, and impressions
- Assisting during endodontic treatments
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Restock treatment areas and maintain Inventory
- Infection Control
- Prepare treatment plans and update patient charts in Denticon
- Set up and breakdown of operatories
- Scheduling patients for treatment
- Maintaining OSHA standards
Skills :
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal

- Denticon knowledge is a plus

Requirements
- EDDA certification
- 1+ years of EDDA Dental Assisting experience
- X-ray certification
- CPR Certification
- Denticon experience is a plus but is not required
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Salary Description $22-$26 / hr
