Position Responsibilities :
- Drive growth strategy with Biopharmaceutical Companies : Establish relationships with new accounts and secure sales with new customers to achieve assigned sales targets Prospect for new partners, develop deal structures, and close deals with Pharmaceutical Companies to support the growth strategy Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers Responsible for setting, reporting on, and achieving account KPIs Relationship building with new and existing clients Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects Identify and present to key decision-makers and stakeholders in BioPharma including senior executives and managers Work with the internal teams when required to address customer requirements
- Lead cross-functional account team be the point-person in BioPharma and provide feedback on market dynamics Act as Key Point person with BioPharma partners Develop / Refine account strategy in collaboration with cross-functional partnersCreate slide decks and presentation material for client engagements.
Generate and negotiate term sheets through to execution of contracts for new collaborationsCapture meeting actions items and notes in CRM and share with the team flagging immediate, mid- and long-term client needs against the existing and growing capabilities of the company.
Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending / improving company offeringsIdentify sales support requirements and work with internal team to develop improved sales tools.
Serve as a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplaceFind innovative ways to resolve problems and be comfortable with ambiguity.
Experience & Skills :
Required Experience and Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3+ years of related experience with a BS in Biology or related field.
- Experience with Life Sciences, Biopharma, Digital Pathology sales with customer-facing role required
- Able to develop and maintain current knowledge of spatial biology field
- Able to build relationships with R&D, Translational, and commercial executives at all levels within biopharma organizations, enabling identification, development of and support for additional value-creation opportunities across their portfolio
- Strategic thinker who possesses solid business judgment and the ability to identify and evaluate risk and opportunity at the scientific, development and regulatory levels
- Highly organized, disciplined, and efficient in meeting deliverables
- High sense of urgency for new business development
- Entrepreneurial mindset proactive, persistent, collaborative, and excited to tackle a wide range of new topics
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
- Willingness to travel 25-50%
- Works collaboratively to develop and deliver business cases to secure strategic alignment and investment during internal business planning processes, including long-range planning.
- Delivery of relevant information to support business planning.
- Experience with CRM software
Preferred Experience and Qualifications :
- MS or PhD is a plus.
- A combination of diagnostic company and startup experience is a plus
Compensation $160k
