Job Title : Business Development Representative

Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Salary Range : $40,000 - $80,000

Duration : Full Time : Permanent

Shift : 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week

JOB DESCRIPTION :

This is a full-time hybrid role that will be responsible for prospecting, closing & generating new business to achieve growth.

The Business Development Representative will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets, maintain a strong understanding of the transportation industry, and cultivate relationships with prospects.

MUST HAVE SKILLS :

  • 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage in a sales position.
  • Proven track record of success in FTL freight brokerage sales
  • Book of business in hand is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM's & TMS Software's.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and shippers.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Hunting and winning new business.
  • Identifying and assessing a client's critical needs.
  • Promote the company's products or services to prospective clients.
  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
  • Create business proposals / quotations for new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Set and exceed sales quotas.
  • Being a point of contact to priority customers and resolving any issues that they have.
  • Collecting and communicating customer requirements to all necessary departments.
  • Keep all comercial information up to date on the company's sales pipeline in CRM.
  • Responding to client communications or queries.
  • Networking with business partners and customers.
  • Coordination of Presentation / Marketing support to customers and prospects
