Key Responsibilities :
- Become a Safety Trigger for our associates and team through daily walk and actions
- Lead and Participate in Value Based Safety
- Lead Incident investigation and Own the actions from the investigation
- Lead and participate in the efforts of compliance and improvement to the following Elements of EHSPolicy StatementManagement SupportCommunication-InvolvementRisk EvaluationManage ChangeTrainingPerformance ImprovementAuditingIncident Investigation
- Lead 6S participation
- Elevate Housekeeping above industry standards Sustainment of Improvements through a system
In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to : Lead and supervise associates’ activities to ensure individual member goals are achieved in support of the team goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise approximately 30-70 associates
- Lead focus on safety and environmental initiatives
- Develop, train and empower associates
- Maintain and encourage focus on quality and customer service
- Identify cost reduction opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Interact as a liaison between other departments
- Support new product launches
- Manage resources to meet departmental goals
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Lead Associate through team concept and mentor growth in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven leadership ability
- Hands-on leader with sense of urgency
- Excellent coaching and teambuilding skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction skills
- Experience with E21 or similar ERP system preferred
- Understanding of the daily scheduling process preferred
- Strong ability to drive change

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis.
Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors are seasonally in nature.
Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills : Computer literate.
Language Skills : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
