Stevens Equipment Supply, a member of Daikin Industries Inc., is a wholesale distributor of equipment, parts & supplies to industries including Residential and Light Commercial Heating & Air Conditioning, Hospitality and Refrigeration is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Lead A / R role located at our corporate branch in Eagan, MN. The Accounts Receivable Lead is a second level accounting position reporting directly to the Controller. The position provides direct support for processing the day-to-day client invoices, credit requests, resolving customer disputes, and other AR activities.

Position responsibilities may include :
Processing various types of accounts receivable transactions including client invoices, credit requests, resolving customer disputesResponsible for responding to client inquiriesResponsible for the preparation of monthly and weekly journal entriesMaintaining the client master files in the account systemReviewing exception reportsRunning daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure all transactions and tasks are completedTrain new hires or employees that are being given new tasks, ensure SOPs are up to dateInteracts with internal and external customers in responding to inquiries or report requests as neededAdministrative tasks for the team / companyPerforms other duties as assigned, such as establishment of new processes, onboarding new clients, corrective actions, or training with employeesWorks closely with the assistant controller on any people management items / issuesPerform additional projects / duties to support ongoing business needsNature & Scope :
Oversees a group of employees and ensures job is done correctlyProvides daily objectivesGuides team at task level to ensure company goals are metIs recognized as an expert in own area within a departmentProvides mentoring and training for new employeesKnowledge & Skills :
Strong communication skills both verbal and writtenThe ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skillsProficiency with Word and Excel to create account reconciliationsTeam oriented person who can focus on the detailsReport writing skillsExperience :
3+ years' experience of accounts receivable processing experience.Demonstrate experience with general ledger account reconciliations including month-end closing processes and knowledge of accounting principles.Education / Certification :
High School diploma required.Associates Degree preferred but not required.People Management : No

Pay rate range is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits for employees include healthcare and dental insurance, life and long-term disability insurance, 401K and different types of paid time off.
