job_description.job_card.job_descriptionReview project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and requirements Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for hardscape and amenity installations Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing Develop complete and competitive budgets in alignment with company goals Collaborate with sales teams to clarify scope and pricing strategies Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labor costs, and industry standards Track and analyze historical data for continuous improvement in estimating accuracy Assist in value engineering and cost-saving recommendations for clients and stakeholders 3+ years of estimating experience in hardscape, landscape construction, or related fields Strong knowledge of hardscape materials (pavers, stone, concrete, retaining walls, etc.) and site amenities (benches, shade structures, playgrounds, etc.) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in Sage Estimating and On Screen Takeoff Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Effective communication and negotiation abilities Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA Healthcare benefit program & 401K match program 9 paid holidays per year with paid vacation and sick leave Fun and fast-paced working environment with a great work-life balance Gothic's company culture fosters growth, inspires longevity and rewards mutual loyalty
