Project Manager Multi-Family Construction Kansas City

Our client is a reputable, General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 25+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial and multi-family spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Project Manager (with multifamily and / or commercial project experience) to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work / projects and long-term growth of the organization!

Job Description

Overseeing scheduling, budgets, documentation, etc. of project from beginning to end. Ability to hire, train, develop and manage a team of Project Managers by providing intentional and proactive leadership. Oversee the management of successful construction projects. Prepare and analyze bids. Preparing reports on construction progress and cost for clients. Be client-facing and maintain the client relationship. Negotiate, award, and administer all subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders on construction projects. Travel to job site 1-2 days a week.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering preferred but not required. Experience on mid to large size projects. 5+ years of experience preferred. Ability to hire, train, and develop a team of Project Managers. Preconstruction experience. Proficient in ProCore, Bluebeam, CMIC preferred. Interpersonal communication. Ability to adapt to ensure project success. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects.
