Validation Engineer 3

Kforce has a client in Pontiac, MI that is seeking a hard-working, innovative, and curious Validation Test Engineer and Lead System Test Engineer to add to our Global Powertrain & Electrification Validation (GPEV) team.

We ensure the design of our Electrified propulsion and powertrain products (Batteries, Drive Units, Power Electronics, Transmissions, Engines) delight our customers. Responsibilities

Kforce is looking for a candidate with the ability to work in a team environment and learn complex system functions quickly.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Chemistry
• 2+ years of post-graduation engineering experience
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and collaboration in a diverse team environment
• Ability to learn complex system functions (i.e. engines) quickly
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
• Proficient with Inca and / or Puma
• Familiar with laboratory operations and test equipment including engine / transmission dynamometers, load frames, power supplies, electrodynamic shakers, environmental chambers, test site controllers, continuous monitoring, fixture design / fabrication, test equipment / setups, and laboratory accreditation standards
