Human Resources Recruiting Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Recruiting Specialist to support our hiring needs. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting in a legal or professional services environment and a strong understanding of the unique demands of talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements
- Draft and post job descriptions tailored to roles across internal and external platforms
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, school career centers, and referrals
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess experience, credentials, and cultural fit
- Coordinate interview schedules, facilitate feedback collection, and manage candidate communications
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with hiring policies
- Assist with offer letters, background checks, and onboarding for hires
- Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environmentProficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing toolsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize effectivelyKnowledge of employment law and legal hiring best practicesPreferred Skills
