Responsibilities

• Team Leadership : Lead and manage a small team (5) of independent engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear goals and expectations.
• Project Management : Oversee the design and development of standard runways and cranes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Technical Expertise : Utilize advanced engineering principles and industry best practices to design innovative and efficient runway and crane solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to support project decisions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of design processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in crane and runway design.
• Implement lessons learned from previous projects to optimize future designs.
• Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and drive efficiencies.
• Lead root cause analysis for design deviations, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Frontline Engagement : Work closely with the frontline to understand their specific needs and requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and support during client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality designs that meet or exceed expectations.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning with sales and project management teams.
