The Role

The Fixture Designer supports Burke's growth by designing, fabricating, and maintaining fixtures used in the production of playground equipment. This role contributes to New Product Development (NPD) and continuous improvement efforts by enhancing safety, quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes.

The essential functions of the job consist of :

Fixture Design & Fabrication

• Design, fabricate, and maintain fixtures for cutting, bending, drilling, and welding.
• Develop pneumatic fixtures for robotic welding cells using department standards.
• Collaborate with manual welders and robot programmers to optimize fixture design for weld access and part placement.
