Job Description

Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with the GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. Ability to source parts from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc. Directs drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Support daily supervision of team members
• Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
• Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Essential Job Skills

Prior Experience

Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales record. Leadership experience, formal or informal, is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

ASE Certification preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Demands

Primarily walking or standing, talking and hearing, manual handling up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Visual acuity required.

Work Environment

Mostly indoor work, occasionally outside in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise. Moderate noise level.

Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance.

Compensation Range

$18.15 - $19.96 per hour.
