Dakota Electric Association is seeking an Electrical Engineer to enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our electrical distribution system. The position level will be determined by experience and credentials. This role involves conducting engineering studies, developing construction and technical standards, and implementing system improvements. The engineer will also oversee design and development projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing the use of our $20 million annual construction budget.
Key responsibilities include :
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve system performance.
- Collaborating with field crews to identify and resolve system issues.
- Leading significant engineering projects and coordinating across multiple departments.
- Engaging with members and the public to address technical needs.
