Sr Accountant
This is a great opportunity to play a major role in the accounting department of a fast-paced, rapidly growing company. The Senior Accountant will assist in all aspects of accounting, including oversight of general day-to-day accounting functions, technical accounting, and preparation of financial statements.
What you can expect to work on :
Involved in the daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end functions of the accounting department with a focus on all balance sheet and income statement related activity for the individual brands of Solo Brands.
Activities and responsibilities including, but not limited to :
- Perform month-end close responsibilities (journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and analysis, etc.) including accounting for significant estimates (e.g. sales returns reserve, bad debt allowance, revenue cut-off)
- Provide insight into the business teams and FP&A regarding the accounting impacts of business decision
- Drive process improvements that allow processes to scale with the growth of the company
- Lead and support business initiatives and finance projects
- Perform ad-hoc reporting & analysis on sales and gross margin
- Drive process improvement
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year end audit requests in addition to addressing questions as needed
- Assist in the integration of NetSuite ERP including procure to pay, order to cash, fixed assets, and prepaid assets templates and modules
What we expect you to have :
