Qualifications :

1+ year of experience in accounts payable

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related field of study with accounts payable internship preferred

Must have experience with reconciliations

Advanced experience with Excel functions (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)

Maximo experience a plus!

Description :

Manage multiple locations with other AP specialists and AP manager

Receive statements from vendors

Manually manage AP inbox daily

Respond to internal / external emails

Help review new and updated vendor documentation for AP manager

Move email to the correct folder

Use Boomerang to follow up on emails

Process bills accurately

Ensure the correct bill is attached

Any additional backup attached

Ensure proper general ledger coding of invoices

Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts

Establish a good working relationship with employees

Establish a good working relationship with vendors

Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and invoice or payment discrepancies

Ensure check requests and employee Expense Reports are supported with proper documentation (i.e., invoice, receipts, etc.)

Ensure all online invoices are downloaded so that there are no late payments

Filing paperwork properly whether in a filing system, or in our system

Keep informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting

Assist in special projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 / hr.
