We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is pivotal in managing payroll processes, supporting open enrollment, and handling a variety of HR and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities :
- Process payroll efficiently using a cloud-based system such as ADP, Paycor or Paycom, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide support during the open enrollment process by coordinating employee communications, updating benefit systems, and addressing related inquiries.
- Manage HR administrative tasks such as onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Assist in the implementation and communication of company HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records for payroll, employee benefits, and other HR-related documentation.
- Prepare and deliver HR reports to aid organizational decision-making on payroll and benefits.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to resolve payroll discrepancies and align reporting needs.
- Support the tracking of compliance requirements and updates to HR systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
- Proven experience in processing payroll, preferably with ADP, Paycor, Paycom or similar cloud-based systems.
- Strong knowledge of benefits enrollment processes, including open enrollment.
- Familiarity with HR principles, policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with HRIS systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interactions with employees and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
