Account Executive

The Account Executive develops and retains business in the assigned region.

Critical Job Functions :

• Develops new business through a variety of prospecting and development techniques.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customer accounts.
• Collaborates with Operations to understand current customer's needs.
• Develops account pricing and submits pricing requests.
• Creates weekly sales reports and account profiles.
• Responds to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Demonstrates knowledge of RRTS services.
• Assists with collections.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve goals.
• Provides leadership to other employees.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret documents.

Ability to present information to customers and management.

Knowledge of Haz Mat regulations.

Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel knowledge.

Ability to manage time and work efficiently.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.

Ability to interpret instructions.

Prioritize and organize tasks.

Ability to solve practical problems.

Physical Demands :

Daily outside travel to make sales calls.

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities.

Outside salespeople are required to sit, stand, travel, work on a personal computer, reach and handle items, see clearly, have depth perception, peripheral vision, adjust focus, talk and hear others.

Work Environment :

Well-lighted, heated and / or air-conditioned indoor office setting.

Moderate noise level based on general conversation tones, ringing phones and laser printer operation.

Outside travel in all weather is required.

Can be subject to occasional wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, and outdoor weather conditions.

There may be slippery conditions or hazardous footing.

Minimal overnight travel required.

Compensation :

$85,000 to $100,000 per year.
