The Repair Engineer is a thorough, dedicated and technicalcustomer facing individual, who is focused on developing unique repairsolutions of engineered-to-order turbomachinery using industry standards andSiemens Energy developed repair standards. The objective is to ensurereliability, availability and efficiency of the equipment while prioritizingsafety and quality to return the unit back to operating condition.
How You'll Make an Impact
Developwork instructions, repair shop routers, inspection packages and qualityplans.
Establishguidelines to provide engineering assessment and disposition forcompromised equipment whist coordinating with experts to develop accuraterepair dispositions.
Collaboratewith production supervisors and leadsman to ensure specifications andprocedures are adhered to during each project phase.
Supportthe resolution of customer technical issues to provide effective solutionswithin acceptable schedule requirements.
Contributeto digitalization efforts to enhance shop operations (digital inspectionprograms i.e. 3-D scanning).
Developaccurate reports and organizing engineering records to update fleet data.
What You Bring
Bachelor'sdegree in mechanical engineering (or related field) with a minimum of1+years of working experience with rotating equipment; 5+ years in the oil& gas or power generation service industry is preferred.
Possessfundamental knowledge of turbomachinery theory and thorough understandingof standard repair principles.
Familiarwith machining and mechanic operations including industry standards (ASME& API).
Stronganalytical skills and ability to be agile / resourceful with a keenattention to detail.
Excellentcommunication, interpersonal ability and technical writing skills.
Flexibilityto adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
