Position Summary :
As an Employment Specialist , you'll play a key role in helping people with disabilities reach their employment goals. You'll assist individuals on your caseload in identifying job opportunities, coaching them through the process, and celebrating every win along the way.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized employment plans for individuals on your caseload.
Provide on-site job coaching and mobility training as needed.
Track and document progress in alignment with agency and funding guidelines.
Serve as a vital liaison between participants, families, DORS counselors, service coordinators, and employers.
Write and submit individualized plans (IPs) within 3 days of each team meeting.
Maintain accurate records using the Effort to Outcomes (ETO) database.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and attend team meetings as a League representative.

What We're Looking For :
Education : High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
Experience : At least 1 year working in Human Services, preferably with individuals with disabilities or the Deaf community.
Skills : Strong written and verbal communication, basic computer literacy, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
Other : Must have reliable transportation with no more than 3 points on license. Flexible schedule availability and ability to work independently are a must.
