AHEAD is hiring a Warehouse Manager to join our new facility in Libertyville, IL! The Warehouse Manager plans, directs and administers all aspects of the warehouse including but not limited to requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies; ensuring the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and practices; and reporting on warehouse activities to both internal and external stakeholders. This is a first shift position, 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm Monday through Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Implement operational policies and procedures as they relate to the warehouse and assigned employees. Manage the accurate pulling of orders and execution of inventory control. Responsible for designing and implementing best in class flow for effective stocking of bins and / or shelves with parts from receiving carts, receiving area, and return to stock material. Responsible for packaging and Quality Control of systems and parts shipping out. Manage the preparation of skids for freight shipment, including wrapping and strapping. Responsible for the execution of accurate semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts. Maintain all required documentation and accurate records of warehouse activities. Other assigned duties as required and assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Required : High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) 5+ years of warehouse management experience Knowledge & Abilities : Strong attention to detail and willingness and ability to follow step-by-step instructions Willingness and ability to adjust and follow instruction in a fast-paced environment Willingness and ability to operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck and / or any of the 5 class forklifts following OSHA requirement Proficient knowledge and understanding of warehouse management procedures Proficient knowledge and understanding of inventory and inventory controls Proficient communications skills, both written and verbal, and at all levels within AHEAD and with external stakeholders Proficient leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Microsoft office

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Ability to occasionally stand up to 2.5 hours a day Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

$80,000 - $130,000 a year
