General Superintendent

Next 150 Construction, a fully owned subdisiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking a General Superintendent. The General Superintendent is responsible for the overall field on a large project, leading a team of superintendents to ensure that company policies and procedures are met in regard to safety, scheduling, budget, quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Field Operations & Execution

• Directs and coordinates field activities across multiple projects or large-scale programs
• Leads and mentors teams of Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff to deliver high-performing results
• Oversees planning and execution of self-perform scopes including Concrete, Drywall, General Carpentry, Hoisting, Site Logistics, Safety Carpentry, etc.
• Maintains full knowledge of contract documents and proactively identifies coordination or constructability issues
• Develops and implements detailed work plans, schedules, and daily coordination efforts with trade partners
• Coordinates project sequencing, shutdowns, tie-ins, and milestone handoffs with stakeholders

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

The pay ranges from $125,000.00 -$185,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
