We are seeking a talented, motivated person to join our elementary school staff as a Special Education Teacher. As a vital part of our teaching staff, you oversee a special education classroom, developing and revising individual education programs for students with specific, individual educational needs. You develop both individual and group-focused work for your students, fostering their intellectual curiosity and academic ability, allowing them to overcome challenges and excel throughout their schooling. Our ideal candidate has at least a bachelor's degree in special education, a current state teaching license, and prior experience working with children with special needs.

Special Education Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with individual students to determine their specific educational needs and challenges
• Develop and revise individual educational programs to give students a clear path to academic success
• Teach in both full class and individualized settings
