Mechanical Design Engineer – Contract position at Actalent in Ft Mitchell, KY

Overview

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will plan, develop, and coordinate engineering projects, act as a technical consultant, and present solutions to site performance demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a staff advisor and consultant on technical specialties, equipment, or program functions.
• Achieve assigned project tasks and objectives within established strategies.
• Ensure project tasks assigned to others are completed within budget, schedule, and priority.
• Conduct engineering design reviews to ensure fit, function, and accuracy.
• Recommend changes in methods and procedures to improve project completion or engineering processes.
• Keep leaders informed on the status of assigned projects with timely updates and alternate plan suggestions.
• Follow up with other departments on project tasks to ensure critical items are completed within needed timelines.

Desk-based R&D setting, 100% on-site at Covington, KY. Flexible hours within standard business hours.

Pay And Benefits

Pay range : $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year.
