GENERAL DESCRIPTION : The mission of Metrocare Services is to serve our neighbors with developmental or mental health challenges by helping them find lives that are meaningful and satisfying. We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing serious mental illness, development disabilities, and co-occurring disorders.
The Compensation and Benefits Manager assists the Director of Human Resources with the day-to-day operations of the human resources department, provides oversight to Metrocare's benefit and compensation plans, human resources employees, and leads a variety of human resources projects.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of strategic human resources objectives, plans, policies, and programs for the organization.
- Conduct compensation reviews, market surveys and monitor internal pay equity.
- Assign pay grades for new positions.
- Oversee and audit stipends and bonuses.
- Assists Human Resources director with administration of merit increases.
- Assists Human Resources director with Benefit Renewals and Open Enrollment process.
- Monitor long-term leave requests involving STD, FMLA, LTD and communicate with the Director of Human resources on complex leave requests.
- Review ADA accommodation requests.
- Conduct internal auditing of Metrocare benefit plans to ensure best practices and compliance.
- Review and respond to Unemployment Claims.
- Manage the Benefits Coordinator and the administration of employee benefits, including wellness initiatives.
- Complete benefits and compensation surveys.
- Develop, implement, and manage employee rewards and recognition programs.
- Prepare various human resources metrics and reports.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for human resources processes and procedures.
- Participate in agency-wide meetings and serve on various committees.
- Assist Director of Human Resources with projects on an as needed basis.
- Serve as back up to the Director of Human Resources during short-term absences.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in business administration, human resources, or related field.Minimum of five years of professional human resources experience, which includes benefits, compensation, and employee relations experience.
