Proven communication and presentation skills, oral and written, with ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and personalities at all levels internally and outside the organization Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex training and employee issues / problems is required Have the ability to deal with frequent changes, delays and unexpected events Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, and maintain confidentiality Ability to work with a team, take direction from a supervisor(s), focus attention on details, follow work rules and adhere to work schedules. The Field Trainer will be responsible for training and evaluating on Operator Qualifications (OQ) tasks, using various methods, in classroom and hands-on, field settings. Support operational units with qualification and training of personnel performing DOT-regulated pipeline covered tasks, in compliance with federal and applicable state pipeline safety regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interacts with operations employees and supervisors to provide training on covered tasks, both in the classroom and hands on instruction in various field or simulated settings
- Observes and evaluates manual skills performance in an objective and consistent manner
- Performs OQ evaluations
- Prepares, organizes, and submits OQ task documentation
- Collaborates with business partners and internal or external subject matter experts
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned
