Clinical Research Coordinator (Department of Ophthalmology)

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the informed consent process of study subjects and adhere to an IRB approved protocol
• Coordinate protocol related research procedures, study visits, and follow-up care as well as screen, recruit and enroll patients / research participants, maintain study source documents, and report adverse events
• Educate subjects and their support members on protocol, study intervention, etc.
• Understand study finances including sponsor invoicing & resolving study subject billing issues
• Develop advertisement / recruitment materials
• Act as liaison for research subject, investigator, IRB, sponsor, and healthcare professionals
• Document investigational product (drug / device) accountability
• Self-monitor and self-audit responsibilities
• Develop / edit informed consent document
• Assignments to include more complex studies

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

$37,220.00 - $46,000.00 Annual Rate

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
