GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The HR Generalist for Franklin Water Treatment, crafts and implements processes that create lasting impact to the Franklin Water Treatment (FWT) and Global Human Resources functions.
This role collaborates with FWT management to enhance various HR programs, including but not limited to recruitment, employee integration, benefits administration, and separation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spearheads the recruitment process for hourly, non-exempt, and selected salaried positions across all FWT locations in the US, which includes overseeing applicant tracking systems, formulating recruitment strategies, conducting preliminary candidate assessments, and managing the interview coordination process.
- Cultivates talent pools and devises communication strategies to strengthen Franklin Electric's employment brand within the US.
- Ensures accurate data management and integrity within the HRIS (ADP).
- Oversees comprehensive new hire onboarding and orientation programs to elevate the recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers, encompassing the refinement of tools, templates, and methodologies.
- Coordinates all aspects of employee separation and offboarding, including conducting exit interviews, managing employee communications, and liaising with payroll.
- Handles employee relations matters as delegated.
- Administers employee communications and data changes within HRIS, covering, but not limited to promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, and reporting alterations.
- Maintains personnel records across SharePoint, HRIS, and / or paper files as required.
- Generates reports and complies data as necessary.
- Drives assigned projects to successful completion, contributing to the achievement of regional and global HR objectives.

- Supports all Franklin Water Treatment locations in developing and implementing talent recruiting processes and developing selection tools
- Effective communication and consistent follow-up both in person and electronically with candidates, vendors, recruiting sources, and internal business partners
- Understands relevant laws affecting human resources and payroll, including but not limited to safety, medical and military leave, payroll, HIPAA, payroll, etc
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), workers' compensation laws, insurance and benefits laws, and other state or federal laws
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business and personal information.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
- Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine and nonroutine nature.
- Skilled at integrating our Global HR Purpose Statement and Guiding Principles into daily work, ensuring alignment with all HR activities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related field (required).
- Three to five years of relevant experience in human resources, benefits, or a related field (required).
- Minimum three years experience managing recruitment of non-exempt and exempt roles (required).
- Prior experience with employee onboarding via mergers and acquisitions (strongly preferred).
Computer Skills
Intermediate : Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS (ADP), Online Recruiting and Sourcing (ex., LinkedIn, Indeed), Talent Acquisition platforms (PinPoint) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
