Qualifications & Compensation
- Candidates must possess 16+ years of experience supporting software engineering, software operations, or DevOps roles in a professional environment (12+ years with a BS degree, 10+ years with an MS degree).
- Compensation is hourly, but assuming you work the hours prescribed by the contract each year (1840 hrs), total annual compensation should exceed $275,000.
Job Description
- Build and maintain AWS services with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms and configuration management tools.
- Work with containerization tools including docker, kubernetes
- Work with CICD and automation tools like Jenkins & github
- Provide systems and network administration support and expertise including support of Linux, patching, optimization, network and server monitoring, and other systems administration tasks.
- Light scripting with python and linux shell script
- Triage and resolve issues related to open source tools in public cloud environments, especially AWS.
