COMPENSATION ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY :
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for evaluating and analyzing the Company’s compensation structure to ensure that it aligns with the company's goals, remains competitive in the market, and attracts and retains top talent.
The role involves studying market data, industry trends, and internal equity to develop and implement effective compensation strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conducting research on industry compensation trends and benchmarks.
- Analyzing salary surveys and market data to determine competitive pay rates for various roles.
- Evaluating and grading jobs within the organization based on factors such as responsibilities, skills required, and market demands.
- Developing and maintaining job descriptions and job classifications.
- Developing guidelines and policies for salary administration.
- Analyzing internal and external salary data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
- Monitoring and interpreting changes in legislation affecting compensation.
- Assisting in the development of annual compensation budgets.
- Collaborating with HR and management to implement merit increases, bonuses, and incentive programs.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
- Keeping abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Communicating compensation policies and programs to Team Members.
- Assisting in the development of communication materials related to compensation changes.
- Providing guidance to HR, management, and Team Members on compensation-related matters.
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 4 7 years of experience as a compensation analyst required
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Credential required.
TRAVEL :
Travel Required : Minimum
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of compensation principles, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS and compensation survey tools.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
