Job Summary :

The Business Development Center call agent at Classic Ford Lincoln - Columbia is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in the auto industry.

This is a full-time, individual contributor position based in Columbia, South Carolina.

The primary role of the Business Development Center call agent is to assist customers with their inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Assist customers with scheduling appointments for routine maintenance, or repairs
  • Follow up with potential and current customers through phone calls and email to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the service & parts departments to ensure timely and accurate communication and resolution of any issues
  • Utilize "BDC" tools to track and report on customer appointments and vehicle status inquiries.
  • Continuously strive to improve customer service and support processes for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed individual and team performance and sales goals

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the auto industry
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently manage time
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge of automotive dealership service processes is a plus
