General Responsibilities
- Has primary responsibility for Agency fundraising.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate effective strategies to meet the Agency's fundraising goals.
- Responsible for meeting the department and event fundraising goals.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with donors and other funding sources.
- Sell tickets and sponsorships to Agency fundraising events.
- Supervise Agency Event Coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.
Essential Functions
- Develops fundraising goals and department budget based on the needs of the Agency.
- Secures donations from private donors, community groups, churches, corporations, and organizations to meet or exceed budget.
- Supervises special events and ensures that fundraising goals (ticket sales and sponsorships) are met or exceeded.
- Attends all Agency special events and fundraisers.
- Ensures that all program operations meet the Agency, licensure, credential, and program standards and establishes operating and administrative policies and procedures to assure efficient program operation and compliance with all contractual terms, conditions, and obligations and with all federal, state, and local legal requirements as outlined by regulatory bodies.
- Meets regularly with Division Director of Communications and Advancement concerning agency funding operations.
- Works with the fiscal director to develop and meet Agency financial and budgeted goals, determine areas of concern, and ensure that revenues are balanced in both the Finance and Development departments.
- Develops and ensures that all assessment indicators and other quality assurance methods are measured, tracked, and used to improve the department's effectiveness and growth.
- Is responsible for maintaining compliance with the applicable sections of all accreditation standards for the Agency.
- Represents the Agency to outside organizations and / or committees as assigned.
- Serves as a member / participant on various Agency committees.

Requirements :
A Master’s degree in administration, management, or a related field is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree in the same areas or equivalent work experience is preferred.
All degrees must come from a regionally accredited educational institution that has U.S. Department of Education approval.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in fundraising and development.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute effective fundraising plans and personalized solicitation efforts.
- Must demonstrate a high comfort level working with donors and asking for financial support in face-to-face meetings or other effective, interpersonal ways.
- Availability to work flexible days and hours as needed.
- Must display strong independent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key individuals for the agency's benefit.
- Results-driven, motivated individual with proven capability to work independently in an organized, detail-oriented, and efficient manner, meeting strict deadlines.
- Proven ability to work effectively, professionally, and strategically with individuals from all racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds and to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Exceptional communicator with excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills; able to easily engage others.
- Passage of complete background clearance and any other required testing or clearances.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of liability insurance are required.
