SCHEDULE : 1st shift, Monday through Thursday.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts Operates one or more previously set up conventional CNC machines.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance requirements.
- Performs all tasks safely and responsibly.
- Reads and interprets blueprints.
- Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials in CNC machinery.
- Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Understand, interpret and edit programming.
- Recognize, deploy and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling.
- Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
- Utilize and abide by all applicable Quality Standards and OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
- Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Clock in and out of jobs timely and accurately.
- Perform all required checks and complete documentation.
- Perform general housekeeping functions.
- Perform all other work assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations (fractions, percentages, ratios, & proportions).
- Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent eye sight (with glasses).
- Good communication skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum 2 years related experience or training or combination of both.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
