Senior Financial Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a progressive international company with a 1st class work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide detailed, timely, and accurate analysis for reviewing month-end and quarter-close results compared to budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Present results and analysis to the executives
- Ability to move into a leadership and management role in the future
- Understand and analyze the impact of foreign currency and translation impact on the financial results.
- Prepare and provide financial statements and reporting packages monthly.
- Perform variance analysis and communicate key issues and trends.
- Coordinate with Regions and Management companies to analyze and report accurate forecasts.
- Special projects and analysis as assigned.
- Communicate, research, and resolve subsidiary and regional inquiries related to US GAAP and company policy.
- Support year-end audits with international subsidiaries and regional offices.
- Collaborate with IT on reporting software updates and developments related to system upgrades, financial reporting, and required improvements.
- Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
- Support regions and subsidiaries in addressing reporting and training needs.
- Propose process improvement solutions for system applications.
This opportunity is a direct-hire position in the Sandy Springs / Dunwoody area. You can telecommute up to 2-3 days a week and be in the office ten days a month, usually Tuesday, Thursday, and sometimes Friday.

REQUIRED SKILLS :
- 5+ years as a Financial Analyst
- Experience presenting financial results and analysis to executives
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent analysis skills and experience
- Strong Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities utilizing strong analytical skills
- Able to work efficiently with minimum supervision and within tight time constraints.
- Self-starter and ability to lead and drive change and improvements
- Consultive personality
- Bachelor’s degree (prefer Finance or Accounting)
