The Operations Coordinator-Consulting Services is responsible for executing the necessary clerical tasks and business functions that keep the Consulting Service department operating as a productive and efficient entity.
The primary duties of this Operations Coordinator should include, but not be limited to :
Job Responsibilities
Primary Duties
1. Provide general office administrative, technical and clerical support such as answering telephones, processing mail, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, customer service, etc
2. Communicate frequently with team members and other units across the Organization
3. Coordinate with Project Managers for job prep and job deadlines
4. Track time and completion of jobs
5. Ensure report accuracy and timeliness
6. Supporting and maintaining department operations
Secondary Duties
1. Maintain office supplies and expendable field supplies
2. Coordinate training schedules and programs for Field Service employees as well as certifications
3. Manage Scheduling consultations
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
High school diploma or equivalent. Degree in a business / management discipline or equivalent experience preferred
Possess one to three years administrative experience such as scheduling, planning, utilizing office equipment and other such clerical activities
General construction knowledge is ideal but not required
Asbestos and / or Lead Certified is Ideal; ability to become certified required
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, service-minded, friendly, and takes initiative
Able to get along with a variety of personalities and all levels of staff
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (including strong interpersonal skills)
Ability to work independently and confidently
Advanced Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion, prioritize assignments (with little supervision) and multi-task are essential
