Description
Regional Product Strategy : Develop and execute regional product strategies that align with overall company goals and market dynamics.
Collaborate with global product leadership to adapt the overarching product roadmap for specific regional requirements.
- Product Positioning and Messaging : Defining and crafting the messaging and positioning of products to communicate their unique value proposition, benefits, and differentiation.
- Sales Enablement : Creating sales tools, collateral, and resources that provide the sales team with the information and assets they need to effectively sell the product.
- Competitive Analysis : In collaboration with the Market Research and Insights team, monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to identify strengths and weaknesses relative to competitors' offerings.
- Product Launch Coordination : In collaboration with the Marketing Management Lead, develop plans for launching new products or features to the market, including target audience identification and pricing strategies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch.
- Customer Communication : Crafting customer-facing content such as case studies, whitepapers, and product guides to support customer education and engagement.
- Product Forecasting : Utilize historical data, market trends, and input from regional sales teams to create accurate product forecasts for designated regions.
- Product Activation : Lead the efforts to ensure all products are effectively prepared for sale within the region, including sales collateral, documentation, training, and sales enablement tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with global product management, engineering, and all commercial teams to ensure alignment on regional product strategies.
Collaborate with regional sales teams to understand customer feedback, market trends, and sales challenges.
- Product Lifecycle Management : Monitor the performance of products in the region and oversee necessary updates and improvements throughout their lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the key point of contact for regional product-related inquiries and collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and capitalize on opportunities.
Present regional product strategies and updates to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor US product marketing managers, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Provide guidance on regional product priorities, ensuring consistency with global product objectives.
Training and Education :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience :
- Proven track record of at least 7 years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on regional and downstream markets required.
- Plus 3+ years of direct people leadership experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Demonstrated success in tailoring and executing product strategies for specific markets.
